Kobe Beef, registered as a GI in Japan, is beef produced by skilled farmers designated by the Hyogo Prefectural Kobe Beef Council using advanced fattening techniques on Tajima cattle produced in Hyogo Prefecture, and processed at designated meat processing centers in Hyogo Prefecture. The title is given to beef that has passed the world's strictest certification standards.

 

The Council has no relationship with KOBE VN BEEF CORPORATION (Kobe Beef Vietnam Co., Ltd.) or “KOBEBEEF Austria”.

 

The beef produced and handled by the two ranches is completely different from the Japanese GI product “Kobe Beef” managed by the Kobe Beef Council.
